Natalie - Owner & Founder of WHD
Natalie is the owner and founder of We Heart Dogs, bringing over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Her passion for dogs began in childhood, growing up surrounded by family dogs both at home and on farms in Ireland. That early connection developed into a lifelong love and deep understanding of canine behaviour, care, and companionship.
Natalie has a keen interest in learning about different breeds and their unique traits, believing that every dog has its own personality and needs. Her calm, caring approach helps dogs feel safe, happy, and well looked after at all times.
Alongside her professional dog walking experience, Natalie has also successfully bred three litters of pure pedigree dogs of different breeds, giving her valuable knowledge in responsible breeding, puppy care, and canine wellbeing.
At We Heart Dogs, Natalie’s priority is simple — to provide every dog with the love, attention, exercise, and care they deserve.
Steve - Dog Handler & Show Judge
Steve is a Lead Dog Handler at We Heart Dogs, bringing with him a wealth of experience and lifelong passion for dogs.
With many years involved in the dog world, Steve has extensive hands-on knowledge gained through showing pure pedigree dogs at championship level across the UK. He has proudly exhibited dogs at the world-famous Crufts, as well as at numerous championship shows nationwide.
Through his experience in the show ring, Steve has developed a deep understanding of canine behaviour, breed standards, handling, and temperament across a wide variety of breeds. His confident approach allows him to build strong relationships with dogs, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
Steve is also a qualified show judge for all dog breeds, reflecting his exceptional knowledge and respected standing within the dog community.
